ABOUT US

Central Iowa Agriculture in the Classroom is a non-profit program funded through Boone, Dallas, Polk, and Story County Farm Bureaus. Our goal is to inspire and enable educators to teach students about Iowa agriculture while meeting math, science, social studies, and language arts benchmarks.

Through creative lessons, community programs, and farm field trips, students can discover agriculture’s role in Iowa’s history, where our food comes from, conservation techniques, and how technology continues to impact agriculture.

All programs and materials are offered free of charge.
